Frequently asked questions

You've got questions, we've got answers. Here are the questions we get asked the most.

IP telephony, also known as VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), is a technology where voice transmission is delivered and transported over the Internet. Unlike traditional analog phone lines that use the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) for transport, VoIP uses the Internet for transmitting voice communications.

Being Internet-based, VoIP allows telephone lines to be shared between multiple locations and employees. For example, a chain of 10 retail stores with 2 lines per facility would theoretically have to pay for a total of 20 analog lines. With VoIP, the needs of each of the 10 stores could easily be met with 10 shared lines. The logic is that not all 10 stores will be on the phone at the same time.

At the very least, you need a mobile device or computer and Internet access. We can deliver the service with a combination of corded phones, cordless phones, softphones and mobile applications. To find out which combination is best for your business, contact one of our specialists.

As long as you have quality Internet access, you won't notice the difference with traditional telephony.

Our billing model sets us apart from the majority of players in the VoIP market. The cost of our solution is based on three elements: the number of lines (with unlimited users), the number of telephone numbers and fax lines, and the cost of the 3CX license. Contact us for a detailed quote!
